to softened earth wrapping our hands with vitality
observing spring, seed of intention, a ritual & blessing for new beginnings
“To the life that comes rising with warmth and sunshine. To the abundance that covers the forest floor. To the flowers rooted in humility. To grounding ourselves as we see how much we have yet to grow. To the water that springs forth and falls without reserve to fill each void. To the promise of one more cold night before the relief of warmth. To the softened earth that wraps my hands with vitality. The tenderness of learning to grow in wind, heat, and rain. To the morning song of the birds, the call of the owl, and the buzzing wings of bees touching each element with harmony.”

OBSERVING NATURE
As Winter’s sharp edges soften beneath our feet. As Spring emerges... Do you notice any new visitors in the trees? Which local plants are finding their way through the soil?
How does this activity, expansion, and change relate to what you see in your own life? Are you experiencing an inner spring or does it feel like a different season of life?
WORDS OF INTENTION
If you're willing to share in the comments, I'd love to know a word or phase that represents an intention or quality you'd like to embody this season.
A RITUAL
You could write this word or intention on a piece of paper to place it into fire to magnify your intentions with the light of the Sun, to be carried by the element of Air, and to fertilize the soil as this paper becomes ash and integrates into the Earth.
A BLESSING FOR NEW BEGINNINGS
To the seeds we plant with intention.
To the raindrops they receive.
To the life that comes rising with warmth and sunshine.
To Source weaving it all together, and the new beginnings that are set ablaze.
To grounding ourselves as we see how much we have yet to grow.
To the way we nurture the process, and the patience we hold as we honor all of our efforts.
We say thank you for all that is awakening around us and within us.
To a season of beauty unfurling. Thank you.

I welcome your reflections in the comments — it keeps this journal alive. Thank you for being here and for your reciprocity.
Beautiful words and photographs. One of my intentions is to embrace paradox - in my life and in me.
