I began studying traditional herbalism and plant medicine last Winter through the Gaia School of Healing & Earth Education. While I learned about dozens of plants over the past year, I also narrowed my focus to the ones I was drawn to connect most closely with for now — Lavender, White Pine, Tulsi, Motherwort, Lemon Balm, Burdock, Skullcap, Wild Lettuce, St. John’s Wort, Violet, Lilac, White Willow, Blue Vervain, Feverfew, and Rose.

Through growing many of these in the garden, tea meditations, essential oils, making flower essences, infusions, glycerites, and tinctures, I received so much. This is an ongoing discovery, but below I’m sharing a 14 minute audio and written notes on the medicinal qualities of Rose, a personal story from one of my sittings with Rose in the garden, and a guided meditation for you to connect with Rose if you wish. Thank you for being here and for your curiosity.
